Galanthus plicatus 'Philippe Andre Meyer'
This snowdrop was discovered by Mark Brown in his garden in La Berquerie in Varangeville. The garden is home to the National Snowdrop Collection of France.
Galanthus 'Philippe Andre Meyer' belongs to the group of the so-called "Trym-types", the progeny of the famous Galanthus 'Trym'. It is very similar in appearance to Galanthus 'South Hayes', somewhat smaller, but significantly more vigorous.
The green lines on the outer petals can vary widely in their form. They are sometimes connected, sometimes split into two separate spots.
