It was named around 2010, making it the first yellow-colored hybrid to be named by Hagen. At that time, the term \"color changer\" was not yet common and this quality is rather inconspicuous when the plant is cultivated in a garden setting.<br \/>Most of the time, the flowers of 'Schorbuser Irrlicht' open with a distinct yellow tone, which intensifies to golden yellow with advancing age. The flowers are rather small, have a rounded, slightly conical ovary.
