The finder, Cliff Curtis, was a well-known snowdrop collector who sadly passed away in 2018. He will be remembered because of some well-known snowdrop cultivars such as 'Ketton', 'Peardrop' and of course 'Cliff Curtis'.\nBased on the flowers with their distinctive markings and especially the slightly twisted leaves, it is apparent that the cultivar 'Squire Burroughs' is a Galanthus gracilis hybrid.
