'Corrin'

Galanthus hybr. ‘Corrin’

Galanthus ‘Corrin’ was selected by Rob Wallis and his wife Rannveig in their garden in Carmarthenshire in south-west Wales. It first occurred as a sponanous seedling of the famous Galanthus ‘Trym’ that they found in their garden and named it after their daughter.
The flower shape is called inverse poculiform (or ipoc) because the outer petals have characteristics of the inner petals. Interestingly, the variety has two outer marks, a light green one at the base of the petal and a dark one at the tip. The inner mark is significantly darker in color and extends over the entire inner petal.
Galanthus ‘Corrin’ for sure is one of the most beautiful varieties within the Trym family.
