SwissDrops is Switzerland's first snowdrop shop. Since the beginning of 2016, I have been nurturing and cultivating snowdrops not only for the private collection in the Canton of Appenzell, no, I am also offering some of the rarest bulbs for interested "galantophiles", as snowdrop lovers are also called. For me, it is not the business, but rather the snowdrop itself that stands in the focus. And, of course, the wonderful people who admire them.
The price range of snowdrops is big. It ranges from good garden varieties like Galanthus' S. Arnott' for only 12.50 Swiss Francs to Galanthus woronowii 'Elizabeth Harrison', the only yellow-flowering Woronov-snowdrop, which changed its owner for a record price of 900 Swiss Francs on ebay in 2012. For a single bulb, of course! The auction of Galanthus 'Golden Fleece' went even higher. More than 1'700 Swiss Francs were achieved!

I have been a big fan of these wonderful plants for several years now. Snowdrops are so different on closer inspection, and the abundance of different varieties, of which there are now 1000-2000, is enormous.
In the last few years there has been a real hype about the white flower in the neighboring countries around Switzerland. There are also some collectors here, but there is still no source for quality snowdrops in a large selection. I plan to change this in the next few years and I am looking forward to this challenge!"
