'Moonlight Shadow'

Galanthus nivalis 'Moonlight Shadow'

Galanthus ‘Moonlight Shadow’ is a virescent snowdrop from Croatia. It was found in 2016 by Branimir Petrisevac in the southern part of Istria, a few kilometers from the sea. Branimir's mother, Angelina Petrisevac (Galanthus nivalis 'Angelina'), runs a plant trade. The Decora nursery and webshop are mainly focused on daylilies (Hemerocallis) and peonies (Paeonia). Angelina also trades with a variety of perennials.
Like most snowdrops from Croatia, Galanthus nivalis 'Moonlight Shadow' is rather small in stature. However, the attractive, light green colour of the outer petals still makes it stand out from the crowd.
