Galanthus ‘Dragonfly’ is a hybrid from the garden of snowdrop expert Veronica Cross in Sutton Court in the English county of Herefordshire. As one of the most famous personalities in the UK's snowdrop scene, Veronica Cross created awesome classics such as Galanthus 'Wasp' described in 1995.
Galanthus 'Dragonfly' is a large hybrid whose elegant flowers with their long petals actually look like a flying insect. The name "Dragonfly" ist spot-on. The variety is very popular among collectors and looks best when a light breeze plays with the flowers.
