'Gelbe Marlu'

Galanthus nivalis 'Gelbe Marlu'

Galanthus 'Gelbe Marlu' is a snowdrop with attractive yellow flowers and comes from Nettetal in Northern Germany. It was selected by snowdrop expert Günther Waldorf and named after his wife Marie-Luise Waldorf.
Galanthus 'Gelbe Marlu' is small in stature and multiplies slowly. The petals are narrow, but the yellow color is more intense compared to most other yellow Galanthus nivalis.
This rarity is particularly valued because it goes back to one of the greatest pioneers of the snowdrop scene in Germany.
