'Joe Spotted'
Galanthus Hybride 'Joe Spotted'
Galanthus 'Joe Spotted' is a snowdrop from England and was found by Joe Sharman (Monksilver Nursery) in his garden in the village of Cottenham in Cambridgeshire.
The hybrid clearly has 'Scharlockii' blood, which becomes obvious when you take a closer look at the elongated spathe, flower shape and the well-defined green tips on the outer petals. The inner petals have a pattern that is somewhat reminiscent of a face with two small eyes and particularly large lips.
Galanthus 'Joe Spotted' is a vigorous snowdrop, which looks great especially in larger numbers. It is also suitable for beginners.
